Lodge (lodger00) Summary: [Feature request] GMGen dicebag syntax: XdYsZ Initial Comment: Suggestion: Allow dicebag to understand rolling multiple dice, saving only a few of the results ex: 4d6s3 would roll 4d6, and take the best 3 Logic would have to allow for digit following s (SavedDice) to be equal or less than the number of dice rolled, but not allow SavedDice <=0. Suggestion: Add "Ride 60ft" movement to Travel Time frame in Overland Travel tab. Alternatively, add a separate frame for mounted travel. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martin Thomson (emptyweevil) Date: 2004-07-19 06:56 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=994434 I'd like to add more to this, when you roll a die, you can't save the results of a number of rolls, so if you roll a character, you have to save each roll. You can't just hit the roll button a few times. What if the dice bag had a history of your rolls with the string that was entered and the final value: 4d6s3 = 13 4d6s3+2 = 11 Keep it in a scrolling pane and ensure that you can copy the results. You could probably save several thousand rolls before you even make an impact on usability or memory usage. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384722&aid=988964&group_id=25576 |
