Category: Spell Support Group: To be fixed For 5.12 >Status: Deleted Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Tom Parker (thpr) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Cast Table does not respect Attribute Limit Initial Comment: The CAST Table in the lower right of the Spell Tab in the GUI does not respect the Attribute limit for spells [can only cast (attribute-10) level spells]. Apparently, adding 9th level spells to the Known list is also possible for a Wizard with an 18 Int (I need a rule clarification if this is legal or not - can an Int 18 Wizard put a 9th level spell into their spell book??) The output (char sheet preview) correctly reports the 0 per day the Wizard is allowed to cast for 9th level spells. This also leads to the interesting situation that a Sorcerer is listed as having 0 KNOWN but 6 CAST (in the table on the Spell Tab) if all stats are 18 and the Sorcerer is level 22. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2006-11-11 22:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 NOT a bug, given that the CAST slots can be used for lower level spells, and Metamagic feats....
