When I try to load a .bas program, I get 'File not found'.
I've placed several .bas files on the c: root drive. I've tried several
times but get the same 'file not found' message.. (!?)

You seem to have CSS turned off. Please don't fill out this field.
Hi Chuck
PC-BASIC looks for programs on your Windows home folder, which is usually a folder with your user name located under C:\Users\ You can find this folder in Windows Explorer by typing %USERPROFILE% in the address bar.
Please see http://robhagemans.github.io/pcbasic/doc/#mounting for more information.
Hope this helps Rob
