    1. PC-BASIC installed folder needs to create a PCBASIC.INI (It only create PCBASIC.INI in ...\AppData\Roaming\PCBASIC).
    2. Even with the "mount=c:c:\whatever\subs" in the interpreter the use of CHDIR cause unexpected exit after using command "FILES".
    3. Runs most programs , but after a while (1 to 2 mins) PCBASIC crash causing to close unexpectedly in Win7.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to report these issues!

I have a few more queries so that I understand the issues and can solve them:

1 - This is expected behaviour, the config file should only be created in ...\AppData\Roaming\PCBASIC\PCBASIC.INI. There is a default.ini among the installed files, but this file should not be edited. Does this cause a problem for you or is this perhaps incorrecty referred to somewhere in the documentation?

2 - I can reproduce a hang after CHDIR and FILES on Windows 7, will investigate this.

3 - If there are any error messages on the console if this happens, please post them here. Do you experience the crash after running a specific program? If so, would you be able to post the program here, so that I may be able to reproduce the issue?

      Thanks!
      Rob

Hi, I login as Ronald, and in the General Discussion section in you Release 15.08.01 I add some other info that can be observed. In the mention about ...\AppData\Roaming\PCBASIC it creates successfully the PCBASIC.INI but if I decide to install PCBASIC in any other folder (e.g. C:\BASIC\PCBASIC) will not create the PCBASIC.INI file for some reason. Thank you for your efforts in improving PCBASIC it works marvelous for some code. Ron.
