i've seen there is a new version online since a few hours ago. did you
have a look at the patch branch as well? i'd like to have a second
opinion on that, i think it's useful bit i'm not sure i didn't miss
something somewhere.

there is a problematic recent commit: 0eb6a32d. while it appears to only
add an autogenerated file back, it also reverts some changes in main.cc,
one of which subtly changes the meanings of length given. (i already
wondered in which commit that happened *g*.) let me know if you need
help dissecting that.
