Is there a way to set the column width for a table, I have
been finding the table columns are of equal proportion to
the largest field in any of the columns.

I have tried pc4p_set_width() however this seems to just
work on parent objects such as tables and boxes

I have also been having trouble using
pc4p_set_alignment( "right justify" ). It seems to ignore
this statement when used on a column

an example of what I am doing is below

$text211 = &pc4p_create_object( $table3->cell["col1"]
["row1"] , "text" );

$text211->pc4p_set_text( "Name" );
$text211->pc4p_set_alignment( "right justify" );
$text211->pc4p_set_width("50%");

Any hints would be greatly appreciated

thanks

    the answer is, in case anybody else ran into this

    $table3->pc4p_set_tablecolsize(array(40,150));

    where the array is the column widths for all the columns
