This is the Wiki for the pc2box software that enables file exchange between a computer system and a storage device that is formatted with the LaSAT Video File System, a file system that is used by many PVRs, but not supported by the current operating systems (Windows, Linux).

The software was originally written by the company LaSAT, then distributed as Open Source under the GPL Version 2. The site developers contributed many changes and fixes, including the from-scratch support for Linux.
This enhanced version got picked up by PVR vendors such as smart electronic GmbH.
