Recently released update KB4577586 for Windows 10 which removes Adobe Flash Player activex. After applying this update, when starting PC Equalizer, a message appears stating that Adobe Flash Player cannot be detected (see screenshot). But I can't install Adobe Flash Player activex back.

    same.
the apps seems to work but this message at each boot is annoying.
is there a way to reinstall Adobe Flash Player activex?

Yep, mine is asking for Flash Player activex too. Clicking continue runs the process but I can't see the UI - so can't change profiles.

For my part, pass the message window, everything is there (tray icon + GUI).

    Hi everyone
I know you've been waiting for an update for a long time, specially after the annoying " Adobe Flash Player activeX" message, Actually I've been working on a new version for about 4 months, and I'm about to finish it soon, so be patient, it worth it.

FIX for Missing Adobe Flash ActiveX Control:
this fix allows you to run Flash in Internet Explorer as well as in alot of desktop apps that embed the ActiveX control.
    1- download this file:
    https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000id_/https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ax.exe
2- right click on downloaded file, Properties -> Compatibility -> Compatibility mode
check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows 7" and Apply .
    3- Now install and done.

Still working on the new version, also working on a web page www.pcequalizer.com.

I mean, there is a reason why every browser vendor has removed support for Flash, and Microsoft removed it from the OS. Adobe officially ended support for it at the end of 2020. It has a fantastically bad security record, rivaled only by Java. If the app works without it, why use it?

strangely i reinstalled flash as you explained, then removed it cause i changed my mind about security, and i dont have the message of pc equalizer now even with flash ininstalled...
of course i removed all flash with windows uninstaller, flash remove tool, windows reupdate and folders delete.

      Hello Robin

Thanks for your interest, I've been working on a new version for about 4
      months, I'll finish it soon.
It will be released through the official website https://pcequalizer.com,
but some bugs need to be fixed first.

You have to run the flash player file in compatibility mode for Windows 7
not 8 or 10. Try this and let me know if it works.

      Thanks

      Bilal

The fix doesn't work for me, when trying to install the Flash Player from
the Link you provided I just get the error message that this exe is only
for Windows 7 and older versions. When trying to run it in the compatibilty
mode for Windows 8 (Windows 10 isn't available) I get the same error
message. Same when I let the box unchecked. And the Equalizer doesn't work.
When is the new version coming out which fixes this bug?
