I think a driver update was done during windows was update, so "Equalizer APO" should then installed to the new audio driver, and that can be done by running the equalizer apo configurator only and check all sound outputs include speakers, you can run apo configurator from PCE, in preferences page.

Changing between presets is not changing sound. This has only started after this windows update that I have been using for about 3-4 hours.
i can confirm this behavior on my system as well :\ seems like the windows update busted this for the moment.
there isn't any change anywhere, and on the main screen it says disabled in black on the bottom. panning and delays also non-functional.
