Hi, for any reason the eq is not activated when using a portable bluetooth device is it normal ? thanks
I have this same issue, just started up last night...
Error: attempt to perform arithmetic on global 'Slid_G22'(a nil value) Stack Traceback: 1:[Equalizerpg -> On Show]line:661 in main chunk I've had this issue for a couple months since I bought the premium version, I hoped it would be fixed by the most recent patch but sadly not, help would be greatly appreciated
The recent versions with the Pro Upgrade button have become worse than when it had the donate button. The reason being, the interface magically closes itself at its own discretion a split second after being opened at all at random times, probably in attempt to minimize to the notifications, except that icon disappears too! I'm on Windows 10, just so you know. Can't even find it in the hidden notifications. Also, even if it does remain open, there's no setting to keep it in the taskbar once you concentrate...

Yep, the option is gone with version 1.3.3.2 so the program starts in a window at each boot. Thank you in advance Bilal.
the last ver doesn't have that option, how long until release that option?
Please add the item do not check for updates to the program. Or do something, every time you turn off or restart your computer, a window pops up asking you to update. But I already have the newest version. I update this window again and again.
Yes, as noted I did an uninstall/reinstall. That wasn't the issue. The problem was that the minimize to system tray on startup/close was checked. Then the minimized app was hiding behind an arrow in the bottom right corner of my tray.

did you try to do a clean install?
I cannot seem to fully launch the new 2.0.0.2 version where the EQ appears open on my desktop. It's like it starts to open and then disappears while still possibly running in the background. I open the task mgr. and it doesn't show that it is running. I did a full uninstall and reinstall with no different results. It worked fine yesterday after initially installing. Help Please?!!
Yes the minimized checkbox isn't there anymore. For me, it kept the setting somewhere so it's still working for me (minimized at start).
I did essentially what you told except that I used an uninstaller software that get rid of the leftovers instead of doing it myself (kind of lazy today) and rebooted... Then reinstalled 1.3.3.2. I'm okay since (did some reboots to make sure). Thank you Bilal. :-)
no problem, still amazing work from you, gonna wait for it.

Sorry I made this option in the next version 1.3.3.3 I thought it was there also in the previous version
there is an option to launch normal or minimized, the second one.

now it start up, but you looks like forget to startup minimized
so now it start up the 1.3.3.2? when windows start?, im still using 1.3.3.1 with firewalls block so no message, i have no more patient messing with stuff in the pc xd
Should have replied here, sorry.

Yes, same here. Was the case for the 1.3.3.1 update. Now version 1.3.3.2 is acting the same even if I updated it correctly. I searched a bit in the registry keys but it was too messy to modify... There's a lot of traces of older versions...
Well, I checked the program well and didn't find anything that leads to the update message. Please try to do a clean install, even if you have more than one version installed, apply these steps for all versions: 1. First save your preset and Multi-Delays files, go to the following path: System Drive:\Program Files (x86)\PC Equalizer Free\data\ save "preset" and "delay" folders so that they can be restored when you reinstall PC Equalizer. DO THIS TO ALL INSTALLED VERSIONS. 2. Uninstall PC Equalizer...

You have a great EQ sound processing app. However, it should have been made clear that installing the 2.0 update would result in losing the free version.

i still get the blocked by windows defender and edge :S EDIT: i just give the chance and look likes is just false positive on windows 10 last version, works perfect and doesnt ask adobe bullshit anymore 1.3.3.1, thanks so much <3 EDIT: it looks like start up windows doesn't work with this version :S.

A new file was created and was not labeled as a false positive for both free and paid versions The cause was the "Setup File". it was getting a virus alert, BUT NOT the "PC Equalizer Files" so I used a different setup creator for the new file. Free version: 1.3.3.1 Paid version: 2.0.0.2
The new file now is ready
I'll create a new setup for the paid version, it also was labeled with a false positive.

cant download because edge detects virus in it, not even defender.
oh, thank you so much, i still using the first last version because still work, i just put it on continue and everything still works.
There will be another free version, the last one, that is still under testing. Download was not available because the file type was "exe" and this type of file is not allowed on the server, so it was deleted from pcequalizer.com, I re-uploaded it in "zip" format.
so is not free anymore? and cant download the new version.
Hi Bob Ze I applied your example (in 20 band) and the bass dropped completely, but in the 10 band the hidden frequencies will not be changed and still zero, and that would leave the bass a bit off.
It seems that PC Equalizer does not affect all frequencies. If you pick 20 band instead of 10 band and set the new scrollbars to very similar values (which should be between the frequencies on the band 10) the music sounds completely different. You also get the same effect if you set all bass frequencies to very low. You will still have much bass. Other equalizers remove bass if you lower the bass frequencies. For example: I set all shown frequencie from 22Hz till 1000Hz to -15db. All other not shown...

The file (PC Equalizer\data\Plugins\requ\liceline.exe) got many detections in the previous version. the new one is clean, BUT it's "64 bit", so 32 bit users will not able to run it. working on a clean 32 bit version.

New version is available, 2.0.0.1, according to virustotal.com the files are clean. many changes was made, and several bugs was fixed.

I tried install the new version and had both Windows Defender tell me not to (which I overrode) and AVG capture several malware trojan type files. So, I'm less than convinced that this new version is safe for my PC. Will be sticking with the older version which gave me no install issues.

I'm sorry for this detections, working now to fix this bug.
Same here was OK, but now it's saying it's a Ransomware risk!
Been a 1.x user for a long time. Downloaded 2.0 and it was instantly quarantined by Windows Security. I uploaded PC Equalizer 2.0 to virus total and it was slapped with 22 flags. Here is the link: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/872102df810cd103e838910393a04bec101d83e39ee5d89bab43d5645c065c62/detection Any plans to fix this? I know false positives exist, but I don't feel safe installing it currently.

Well now things are clear, in first time the antivirus blocked the program and so it showed an error message, and now PC Equalizer considered as a threat. Why does this happen? The program searches for a registry key to read, this key contains the installation location of "Equalizer APO", search in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UFH\SHC searches for: Editor.exe, Configurator.exe or Benchmark.exe and they are all files belonging to "Equalizer APO". To solve the problem,...
Well, none of your proposed fixes helped. I completely de-installed everything and downloaded the installer again. But this time I can't even execute the installer because Windows then gives me an error telling me this file could contain a virus or malware. This wasn't the case when I downloaded the installer the first time. Could you fix this bug please?
Thank you, the bug is fixed now, you can redownload-reinstall again.
Thanks for the update Bilal - the new look is great. I have noticed that the Launch PC Equalizer on startup is not persisting - if I change tabs in Preference section and go back to General it is deselected again. I have PC Equalizer running as Administrator. Thanks again.
