If the use of replicants (Bladerunner, anyone? :) ) can be behind the scenes as much as possible, the easier it'll be on the folks that develop other parts of the app. I guess I've thought of you (JT) as developing the core API that folks build Wobjects around. The easier you make the core API to build on the better it is for people creating Wobjects and other functionality. Part of making stuff easier is keeping the number of variables a developer has to juggle to a minimum. A slightly esoteric point, probably. And kinda hollow considering I'm not yet doing "core" WebGUI development. So I'll shut up now. :) -DJCP -- *-._.-*^*-._.-*^*-._.-*^*-._.-*^*-._.-*^*-._.-*^*-._.-*^*-._.-* Daniel Collis Puro CTO and Lead Developer, MassLegalServices.org Massachusetts Law Reform Institute 99 Chauncy St., Suite 500 Boston, MA 02111 617-357-0019 ext. 342 dp...@ml... http://www.masslegalservices.org |
