#1 Fixes for Debian bug reports

This is a patch containing the changes I've made to
Pathological while maintaining it as a Debian package
(that aren't Debian-specific). It fixes a warning in
Python 2.3, lets you select the level to start on (from
the levels you've played thus far), and makes
Pathological start faster by only initializing the
parts of Pygame it needs. It is against Pathological 1.1.3.

Ideally these will all make it into a future release of
Pathological.
