No

I have PasswordSafe V1.18.2 running on Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS 64bit

I am able to open and use PWS but am unable to edit any entry.

I can use the arrow keys on my keyboard to move around, but I cannot delete or type anything.

I am able to edit on my phone, but would also like to be able to do so on my laptop.

Sounds like you don't have write permission for the PasswordSafe file.

      Rony.

I did check that the file was writable and it is and always has been on
opening on my laptop unlike on my phone where it is write protected by
      default.

It appears that there is only one entry, so far, that is not.

The entry shows as: NAME [USERID] #, first time I've see a # in an entry in
the list of entries seen when first opening the safe

But when I open it I can't see # anywhere but I can't edit this entry,
      whereas I can edit others.

Does the # have any significance?

Why doesn't it show when I open the entry?

      Regards.

      Chris.

P.S. Also the delete entry option is not available for the # entry but is
for others in the Edit menu or on right click.

How can I delete this entry?

P.P.S. Got it the # denotes a protected entry, I've unprotected it and all
          is now good.

          Sorry to have troubled you.

          Regards.

          Chris.
