I have started to experience difficulties in saving and syncing password files, after years of trouble free use. I'm using the latest version of PWSync (3.47.02 64 bit).
I'm seeing a Dropbox message that it can't sync pwsafe.plk because "Permission Denied": this is presumably because PasswordSafe Sync is trying to sync a file and can't. So it sounds as if Dropbox is having trouble writing to the Apps folder.
I'm also seeing an error message when I edit anything in PasswordSafe: "unable to create intermediate backup. do you want to save changes to your database without it".
Not sure why this is. The only big change in my system is installing the Windows Feature Update for October 2018, i.e. version 1809. This is the one that started to be rolled out a couple of days ago and then was "paused" by Microsoft because users were having files deleted. But it installed and is working fine for me (as far as I can tell). So this may just be a coincidence. I also updated my version of PWSync a couple of days ago. I didn't notice any problems when I did this, but that may be because I hasn't altered any of the records in the database.
in the past couple of days another user has reported in the forum what seems to be a similar problem. There don't seem to have been any responses in the forum, though.
