I've read the Password Safe's help file, Password Safe Preferences page.
I have a need to set pwsafe.cfg defaults for every user despite login user or computer. I have a set a system admins that we need to standardize the behavior of the application. Is there a default profile that can be created in the cfg that all users will initially read from?
I've tried saving the wanted settings and then removing the machine-name and username section heading and endings to no avail. Is there a section heading / ending that can be used as the default?
Also I may want to make the pwsafe.cfg a read-only file (via the file system) so that individual sections cannot be saved. We have run into issues of corruption, in the past, and issues of multiple databases that are not "authorized" databases for the group of Admins.
I may enforce the startup options with the -r and -g options as well as the PWS_PREFSDIR environment variable.
FYI: the PWSafe app is on a mapped network drive that everyone will be accessing as the same drive letter.
