Hi Rony, hope you are well.

I'm experimenting with running PWS from a USB Stick via a 'Green Install' - so I can run it from 'any machine'.

The config file saves settings that I've defined via the 'Options' menu in groups within tags naming the MachineName and the Windows Login name of the currently logged user

So that if I take the USB stick to a different machine it ignores all the 'Options' I've set up because it can't find a pre-configured section with the Machine name and login name that I'm using on the current machine. And so runs PWS with the 'default' settings for all options.

Is there any way to have one set of options in the config file that all machines that the USB stick is used with will read and action - irrespective of what the machine name or the windows login name currently in use is?

    SORRY RONY!!

Just found the info in the pwsafe.chm file! I looked all over the web and the pws Sourgeforge pages before posting - but it was only after I did post that I thought of checking in the offline help file.

    Apols for my stupidity!

I don't seem to have any way to close the ticket myself - otherwise I would have - sorry again!
