#228 Auto Type ignores tabs in remote desktop connection

I have version - V 3.21 (3281). I am running on Windows XP Professional SP 3:

When using the auto type function to auto type the user name and password for a remote desktop connection, the tab and enter keys are ignored.
Instead, the username and password are both typed in the username field. (There is no space between the two.)
Any ideas what I need to do to correct this? A friend of mine has an earlier version that works.

Thanks for your help.

As posted in a different thread, one user found that adding the '\z' field to the AutoType string solved this issue. It can go anywhere in the field but you might as well put it first e.g. '\z\u\t\p\n'

Would you mind testing it and reporting back please?

I had the same problem and '\z\u\t\p\n' did solve it.

    Yes, the switches work.
A new issue is that the user name contains an undrescore '_username'
Autotype changes the underscore to a dash '-'.
The login fails because the user name is incorrect.
