Hi,
Version 0.7 of PasswordSafe for Linux is available for download.
Thanks to Sauravg and pm_kan for their work on this release.
Currently we provide precompiled .deb packages for 32 bit Ubuntu and Debian
distributions. PasswordSafe is known to build and run under 64 bit platforms
and other distributions as well. Please drop me a note if you're interested
in helping create packages for more platforms.
Notes regarding Ubuntu's Unity desktop:
1. Unity has some rather strict ideas as to what can and can't be displayed
as a system tray icon, with PasswordSafe falling under the latter category.
Therefore we recommend the Mnage->Options->Put icon in System Tray checkbox
be turned *OFF* for this platform.
2. Under the latest Ubuntu release (11.10), the Notes field in the Password
Entry's details is unreadable. We are currently investigating this.
The Linux packages may be downloaded from:

respective packages. These were signed with my SourceForge account key,
