When I switch working from home to working in the office I need to change my IP address settings. I use the Windows Control Panel/Local Area Connection Status/Properties/Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) dialog box to enter the 5 IP addresses I use in the office. IP Address Subnet Mask Default Gateway Preferred DNS server Alternate DNS server I put the 5 IP addresses into 5 lines of the Notes, and specified this as autotype \o1\t\o2\t\o3\t\o4\t\o5\t\n With the keyboard focus on the first character of the IP address in the last dialog box, I bring up Password Safe, select my entry and Perform Autotype (Ctrl-T). Nothing happens. The cursor doesn't move. I tried putting a \W1 (wait for 1 second) at the start of the autotype. When I press Ctrl-T the Password Safe dialog box goes away and nothing happens. If I do the same in notepad I see the IP addresses. It has the same effect if I specify \z for the 'old style' autotype \z\o1\t\o2\t\o3\t\o4\t\o5\t\n Why doesn't autotype work with the Windows 7 control panel?
