[Passwordsafe-linux] Error Message when installing

I'm trying to install PW Safe in Ubuntu the most recent version (11.10
I believe) but get an error message from Ubuntu Software Center:
Lintian check results for /tmp/passwordsafe-ubuntu-0.7.0BETA.i686.deb:
Use of uninitialized value $ENV{"HOME"} in concatenation (.) or string
at /usr/bin/lintian line 112.
E: passwordsafe: dir-or-file-in-tmp tmp/pwsafe.desktop
E: passwordsafe: dir-or-file-in-tmp tmp/pwsafe.png

Any ideas?

p.s. I've been using the windows version w/ wine and it works great,
but would like to have a native linux version.
