Hi, I've uploaded a pre-release version of PasswordSafe 3.28, plus the .po files with the new strings for translation. Here are the main new/changed user-visible features: [3468289] Use the Password font for passwords displayed in the Password History and for those displayed in the List view. Also add the ability to zoom in/out of the Notes field to enable any text to be more easily read. [3455436] Users may now delete the password history for all existing entries in a database. They may choose to also change Protected Entries, although the default is not to. [3421963] Centralized Password Policies can now be saved in a database, managed (added, edited and deleted), exported and imported, used in filters and to generate passwords. [3445820] The Edit menu item and entry right-click context menu item "Copy Run Command to Clipboard" will, by default, substitute any variables within the command. To disable this, hold down the Ctrl key when selecting these menu items. The standard menu shortcut cannot be used to disable the substitution as the Ctrl key may be used to select a different menu item/command. [] After closing the current database, on opening another, PasswordSafe will first attempt to access the directory of the last opened database in order to allow the user to start browsing for their intended database. If this directory is not available, PasswordSafe will open the default "My Safes" directory as it did prior to this change. [] Databases are now always validated when opened. The Manage->Validate menu item has therefore been removed. [] The default backup policy has been changed to save the last three versions of the database, instead of one. Note that the English help text isn't quite ready yet, this will be announced separately. Schedule: I'd like to release this version around mid-February. The files may be found in the directory that DK set up, which also includes tools and instructions for those intersted in making their own dlls for testing: https://sourceforge.net/projects/passwordsafe/files/Translation%20Tools%20for%20Windows%20%28MFC%29%20Version/ (http://tinyurl.com/6fgecno) The new files are under the 3.28pre folder in the above. Thanks in advance for your help in making PasswordSafe accessible all over the world! Cheers, Rony |
