The README for Mac was wrong about pwsafe-i386 needing pwsafe-i386-*.xcconfig. It uses pwsafe-{release,debug}.xcconfig from the "pwsafe" target. I corrected that in the README. Thanks for pointing out. The "Generate version.h" build phase was somehow set to run only for deployments (for the i386 target only). I removed that. Now the i386 target should build without you having to manually mess with version.{h,in}, just like other targets. Please give it a try. Just to be sure, remove your Xcode/build* directories first and run the same "xcodebuild ..." command as below, in the pwsafe/Xcode directory. Thanks for digging into it! Saurav.
