Hi, The "tooltip" feature would be IMHO a good solution, because you can get the help needed at the place where you want it. Kind regards Karlo -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: dk [mailto:dk...@gm...] Gesendet: Montag, 27. April 2009 07:23 An: 'David Earl' Cc: 'Post-Karlo'; pas...@li... Betreff: Re: [Passwordsafe-users] Autotype prompts David, What I would prefer is to add a question mark bitmap next to or near the Autotype field (if there is room) and, whenever the mouse is over it, display the information that Karlo has put in his mail below. We have too many extra popup dialogs. This feature is a bit like a tooltip - but always there (whilst the mouse is over the image). We use something similar to display the first ~200 characters of an entry's Notes field (subject to a preference - see Manage->Options->Display) - although this only shows for a shorter time. I'll look to add this for 3.18 unless anyone objects. Regards, David -----Original Message----- From: David Earl [mailto:da...@fr...] Sent: 24 April 2009 10:06 To: dk Cc: 'Post-Karlo'; pas...@li... Subject: Re: [Passwordsafe-users] Autotype prompts Another option would be a pop-up, which would in principle take less space and is extensible when new substitutions are added. While the dialog is quite long, it's also quite narrow, so I'm sure there is scope for adding more here if needed.
