#855 "Latest version" check requires unlocking and then locking DB to access

The "Latest version? Click here to check." option is only accessible via Help->About when there is a "loaded" database. However, you must not have a database unlocked in order for the check to work. This is not very useful as you need to first unlock a DB by entering a password then lock it to access the check.

I suggest that the Help button on the primary password entry screen bring up the same menu as what comes up when you click the Help button when a DB is loaded instead of immediately launching the Help window. This way you can check the version (and browse to the PWS web page) without having to unlock a DB first.
