In addition to using a local file, it might be useful to support OneDrive, Google Drive and other RESTful APIs to cloud storage. This would enhance portability.

Would make not only portability much better but also (complex) syncing when using a single DB file on various platforms would become obsolete...

Dropbox is now moving to a business model where the free version supports up to 3 devices. We've been using pwsafe and Dropbox to synch our safe across all our12 devices (iPhones, iPads, and Windows-based latops). So this change impacts our approach. The only other cloud-based storage we use is Onedrive so our family would like to see native integration with Onedrive. Until then we will explore iCloud options.
