#792 Text and icon size problems with high pixel count screens

I think this may be related to ticket 765 (https://sourceforge.net/p/passwordsafe/feature-requests/765/) but I am not certain that it is exactly the same issue.
On my new laptop with display set to "optimum" (3840x2160) Password Safe borders on being unusable because the icons and the font size during the safe opening process are ridiculously small. I have set the fonts for the tree and password field to larger sizes but that does not help with the tool bar or the drag bar or the file open dialog and it doesn't help all that much with the text in the password field for a specific database entry.
The attached screen shot should illustrate the problem better than any description I can present.
Personally I have used PWSafe for so long and I am so familiar with the icons that I can barely see the icons on the toolbar and dragbar well enough to use them, but the toolbar icons are so tiny it's hard sometimes to click on the correct one. My wife, who is relatively new to PWSafe on Windows and who has a bit worse eyesight than I do, cannot see the icons well enough to use the program.
My suspicion is that screen size, or at least pixel count, will continue to increase with time, making pwsafe progressively harder to use at the same time that our population is growing older and more of us seniors who are beginning to notice some age related vision changes will want to use PWSafe.
Based on this my requests are that (1) the program either provide icons of various size from which the user can choose the appropriate icon set or else make the icons scalable in some fashion.
and (2) allow more control over the font sizes including font size control for ALL text displays and text entry fields as well as a wider range of font sizes from which to choose. For example, it would be nice to be able to see how many characters I have entered when I type in my pass phrase instead of straining to see whether I have in fact entered anything at all into the open safe dialog. Even the largest font size in the edit dialog for an entry in the program is relatively small.
