#639 visually identify DB in sys tray without hover

With multiple instances showing in the the system tray, the ability to identify the database and its locked/unlocked status would be a benefit. This would also allow you to move the mouse to the desired db and double click to open it without the need to pause for the hover. The hover as currently implemented may display a very long path.

My suggestion would be to somehow allow either alternative colors per instance or allow perhaps an overlay on the icon that might accept a single charactor or more if you could fit it. Also possibly different icons similar but different enough to identify the db.

It is unlikely to be implemented for a number of reasons.
    1. We like the universal colours red and green to indicate the safety of the database, and
    2. It will be very difficult (and maybe impossible) to overlay a character onto an image in the Window's System Tray, and
    3. There can not be any consistency of mapping the character (if it were possible to implement) with a specific database as it would have to be purely based on the order in which they were opened, and
    4. There would need to be a new mechanism so that a new instance can find out which characters are currently in use by other instances to avoid duplication.

    There may be more reasons!

Changing colors is tricky, as they already have meaning, but I think there's a standard way to shorten long pathnames, something like
    Will look into this.

System tray tooltips now limited to 40 characters (previous limit was 64). This should be enough to help identify different icons by a quick hover.
Don't think we'll support color customization for reasons pointed out.
(committed in revision 4487, will be released in 3.27)
