Wish: Add "save" or "apply" button to entry dialog (next to the existing [OK] [Cancel] [Help] buttons)

Use case: When I create a new entry, I am often using a new site for the first time, and there are a number of steps to iterate through. Adding a user name, password, making sure the password actually worked, adding the right login URL, recording their asinine "security questions" and any other details I need to know later. A "save" or "apply" button would allow me to more easily save what I have so far in case of a Windows crash (I don't think PWS has ever crashed on me all by itself :).

Existing work-around: enter some data and hit OK, then re-edit that entry. Not a big deal, but more clicking and moving than if the [OK] [Cancel] [Help] buttons also had [Save].

I'm torn about the name. [Save & continue] is probably too long, [Save] is accurate but may be confused with what [OK] does and [Apply] is kind of odd. But people are probably pretty used to having "Apply" more-or-less mean "save and continue" so maybe an [Apply] button is the way to go.

Priority: Low; nice-to-have-at-some-point

    Not a bad request :-)

If it were to be implemented, as per PWS's minimum requirements of any entry, the Title and Password would have to be specified (and maybe Group and/or Username if an existing entry already existed with that 'Title' and no Group or Username).

I have done some more research and think it will be possible for Edit (using the standard Apply button that we currently hide). I don't think it will be so easy for Add.

Therefore, I suspect (early days), that you would have to Add the entry first and then do Edit + multiple Apply + final OK or Cancel (the Cancel would only cancel the changes made since the last Apply).

We are implementing an Undo/Redo functionality. Each Apply would correspond to a change that could be undone/redone. So an "Add", 3 "Applies" and an "OK", would correspond to 5 commands. So doing 5 "Undos" would revert the current environment to just before the original "Add" was performed.

Unlikely to be in the next release (3.21).

    I lied - it will be in V3.21 :-)
