Problems with linux v0.91 (5298M) beta and Android pwsafe

After installing the above beta from, and opening a pwsafe file from my popular file syncing service and changing the master password to a longer one, I opened the updated file with the Android pwsafe to be met with the following error message:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Password policy too long: f00001e001001001001

Changing the password back on Linux resulted in the same error.

Is it not possible to use pwsafe files accross Linux and Android? It has been working fine between Win and Android for many months.

    All the best.

The issue should be fixed in 4.0.1 of PasswdSafe. The app now ignores extra characters at the end of the policy. It appears some program is adding an additional null character to the end of the string that is stored for the record.

Thanks, I can confirm that works!
