Does anyone know how to close a safe via the command line? I do not want to terminate the pwsafe.exe process, just tell it to close all the safes it has open.

    Ideas anyone?

    Many thanks, Geoff

This is currently unsupported. Note that you may have > 1 instance of PasswordSafe open. Need a way to specify which instance to close.

BTW, do you want this for Windows, Linux or both?

I would like this for Linux. Personally I only use the one safe. You could do a close all safes in all instances, maybe? The other option would be the full safe path to be closed. None of which are easy I know. Should I log something as a Feature Request?

Thanks for the reply Rony, much appreciated, as is PasswordSafe of course!

Yes, please open a feature request. I can see how to do this for Linux relatively simply.

    Cheers,

    Rony

I will open the Feature Request, however, simple clearly describes me as I was thinking Windows but typed Linux..... maybe my subconscious was trying to tell me something! Can't believe I did that.

      Many thanks, Geoff
