    Hi,

I'm trying to login to Password Safe with my master password. I know the master pwd; but I keep getting the following error message when I try to login..Internal error: Unexpected error number.

Is this the "wrong password" error or something else? Any suggestions?

    -Tony

I'll make a wild guess here: You're trying to access your password on passwordsafe.com, which has absolutely nothing to do with the open source desktop utility PasswordSafe, which is discussed in this forum.

If I'm wrong, please tell me which version f PasswordSafe you're running, and on what platform.

Rony, That is indeed an error message from PwSafe.

My apologies - this is the first time I've seen this error message in the field. Took me a while to track down.

Looks like your database has been corrupted, possibly due to a system crash or a flaky disk. If you have a backup on another machine or media, now's the time to use it. If not, you might want to look for the automatic backup files in the same directory as your password database, typically name pwsafe.ibak-something.
