Is there any chance you could get the safe's Master Password to open with the use of the iOS fingerprint design?

On iOS, there is the pwSafe app. It is using the PasswordSafe database
format and you can share your PasswordSafe database via several cloud
      services (I'm using Dropbox).
My wife has an iPhone SE and it is possible to use the iPhone
fingerprint there to open the database. Of course you initially need to
enter the database password once to set this up. Certainly this is also
working on other iPhones and iPads that use Apple's fingerprint
      implementation.

I'm doing just that on my wife's iPhone. When you open the safe, a window pops up asking if you want to use the fingerprint to supply trhe password. I assume you need to have the keyring enabled.

Not much of a chance, as this project is for Windows and Linux versions of PasswordSafe.

For the iOS port, you should go to https://pwsafe.info/contact-us/
