Mother board fried on PC running XP with my Password Safe files there and no backup (as far as I know). Old HD has been put into new box as secondary data storage HD (non boot) with windows disabled but all old files still there. New primary HD is running Home Premium 7. How do I access the old database? Files are still on old HD but I can't seem to find the database file to open in Password Safe directory. I have installed latest version of Password Safe on primary HD and I know my old password. How do I get into old database? Serious problems loom if I can't get in. Thanks.

Did a search for pwsafe.psafe3 on old HD, found it (in \Intel\logs), opened it with new version of Password Safe, it worked! Safe and sound...

    Glad that all's well.

Please make backups of your password database file!
