On Linux Mint 17 using PWS 0.97 I can't delete groups. As far as I can see, the "x Delete Group" right-click menu item is always grayed out, even if the group is empty. "Edit > Delete Item", the delete tool-bar icon and the delete key all fail as well.

Oddly, I can "rename" a group to the same name as an exiting group, which then merges them. So I can combine unwanted groups down, but I can never delete the last one. This seems to happen with both top-level and nested groups.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new DB
2. Create top-level "Level1" group
3. Create "Level1.Level2" group
4. Create top-level "Level1a" group
5. Try to delete any group
6. Rename "Level1a" to "Level1"

    Possibly related to #1256?

No, as the logic is platform-specific

I also see this in v0.98.

    Is there a workaround?

I can not reproduce the behavior with the latest version.
