#1127 V.3.32 doen't forget virtual keyboard used

Steps taken:
1. Use master PW with keyed-in characters by a physical KB + a couple of characters from a national virtual KB. Checkbox in virtual KB form is selected - remembering last KB used.
2. PWsafe database is opened.Close the program.
3. Opening the program again, using the physical + virtual KB, but this time not checking the checkbox, thus asking to forget KB used.
4. PWsafe database is opened. Close the program.
5. Opening the program again - last KB used is remembered - contrary to the previous request.

It appears that the last vistual KB used, as registered in the cfg file at step 2, is not erased in step 4.

No - the last one used is not saved but the original one used was not cleared.

If in step 1 you used virtual keyboard A it would remember 'A'.
If then in step 3 you use virtual keyboard 'B' then, in step 5, it will show the original keyboard 'A' and not 'B'.

The option does not erase the last setting - it just does not update it if asked to forget the current one.

Thanks for the explanation - it makes sense now.

BTW - by selecting the "Physical Keyboard" (first entry in the drop down list of available keyboards) as the last virtual keyboard before exiting the virtual keyboards dialog, effectively clears the saved selection (as long as you haven't told PWS to forget the selection) - if that makes sense!

@DrK - yes, but I am trying to make the process of using the virtual KB as expanded keyspace as easy and fool-proof as possible, hence the new feature request to allow the option to make the "forget KB used" selection a permanent user's choice.

I understand and support your new Feature Request - my last comment here was a current workaround to emptying the saved virtual keyboard value. On the other hand, I think there is a case for an option to reset/clear any and all saved information from the config file (including virtual keyboards). This is in addition to your request for and option to set the default re saving the last virtual keyboard.
