I noted the problems with CDK4 vs CDK5, as we're running Debian unstable on most of our machines right now. I'll need to get CDK4 for the admins who are running unstable. (BTW, I just discovered that my boss is the package maintainer for CDK in Debian. :) > At the moment CPM needs the old version 4 of CDK but I hope to have CDK > 5 support ready with the next release of CPM. That's good to hear. Now if Debian can speed up their release process, you might get CPM into a stable distro sometime this century. :) > I use CPM with 2 colleagues to share passwords and it works pretty well. > ;) Even if there would be any problems, you should be able to rescue the > data by calling gpg/gzip manually and extract the XML data in the file. One of the reasons we're switching from our current solution is that it doesn't support locking and we've accidentally corrupted the password file more than once. That, the plain-text interface, and the ability to customize the data fields and search templates really sold me on CPM. Thanks for providing CPM. -- Carl D Cravens (ccr...@hu...), Ext 228 (620.327.1228) Software Developer, Systems Administrator Some days it's not worth chewing through the restraints. |
