The PasswdSafe Sync app requires access to contacts in order to choose accounts for Google Drive and ownCloud. The Android permission suggests that a user's contact list is access, but PasswdSafe Sync only uses the account list.
The PasswdSafe Sync app requires access to online accounts for its sync providers - Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and ownCloud. Authentication tokens may be stored in private files on the Android device to allow automated access to the account to sync files.
Personal information such as a user name or email address from a sync account may be used to display the account in the app. No personal information is collected and transmitted from the Sync app to anyone or any server associated with PasswdSafe.
Passwords and other account information in password files are not collected or transmitted from the PasswdSafe app to anyone or any server associated with PasswdSafe. At the user's request, information such as password expiration dates may be used locally. At the user's request, file passwords may be encrypted with a key associated with a fingerprint and saved locally.
A user's contact list is not read by PasswdSafe or PasswdSafe Sync
