#62 Android PWsafe starts with an error message

My Android PWsafe is now displaying a complex error message every time I try to open with my master password. I have reinstalled the app, and also copied the latest working data file from my PC to the phone. No help.
The error message is:
java.lang.SecurityException:
com.android.externalstorage has no access to content://media/external_primary/file/1000000999
The only thing available to touch is: "Copy Trace and Close"
If I paste that into a notepad, it is a very long error message. I can't find a way to copy it to this PC.
HOW DO I FIX THIS SO I CAN USE PWSAFE?

How are you attempting to open the file? Are you using some file manager app to select and open the file? Or, are you opening from PasswdSafe's file chooser (via the lower-right button)? The internal file chooser should allow access.
