i have my psafe3 file on my Google Drive. I can open the file from my windows computer, but i cannot with my S8. The software keeps reporting that I have an incorrect password. I know ots the correct password. I even started a new file and moved everything over. It worked for a day and now it doesn't, incorrect password error. Do you have any advice? Thanks

Does your password contain any accented characters? There can be an encoding issue if using non US characters.
Are you opening from the Google Drive app or the file chooser?
accented like tilda's? if so, no. i am opening it from Google Drive
Try using PasswdSafe's file chooser. In the chooser, use the top-left menu, and your Drive account should be visible.
sorry, that didnt work either.
In the Google Drive web site, if you choose the file and view its details. What is the Type, and what do you see if you hover over the value of the type? Is the size correct between Windows and the app?
same size and everything. i made a new safe with a super simple password just to check. still didnt work.
Try reinstalling the app. Your files shouldn't be removed or anything.
tried it. no dice.
Try installing the PasswdSafe Sync companion app and add your Drive account. It should sync the file which you can open by choosing your account in the PasswdSafe top-left menu.
it installed and synced. i had an old copy of the file and it opened, but it opened without the sync tool. all other files still showed a bad password.
could you send me the sample file you created that has the problem? What locale/region are you using on Windows?
