I cannot find any "alternate keyboard", either in the (Android) app, nor in the (Windows) application.
My phone is running on Adroid Marshmallow (6.0.1).
Help would be appreciated, since copying the password is not quite safe.

I had the same problem. Jeff's note from a previous thread:
      https://sourceforge.net/p/passwdsafe/discussion/1067588/thread/ad7d69b5/#a2de/6a48/76c8/9239

I'm on a much older android version (thanks verizon) but on mine, I enabled the keyboard from the 'home' screen / settings / Language and Input. Under Keybarods and input methods, check PasswdSafe.

I can't quite remember how I first used it (I've since gone back to the copy/paste but may try the alternate keyboard again) but I think it required pulling down the notification area and doing something.

Each Android version seems to be a little different. Goto Settings -> Language & Input -> Current Keyboard, and click on the choose keyboards button. PasswdSafe should be listed along with other available keyboards. Click to enable the keyboard.
