#46 can't edit safe in dropbox on android 7.1

Got a new phone but I can only seem to open safes in read only mode now (even when I uncheck the read only tickbox). File is in dropbox. I can edit safe if it is not in dropbox, and I can edit other files that are in dropbox.

Are you using the Dropbox app to open the file? If so, then it will be readonly as the Dropbox app won't sync changes back. If you want to edit and sync files, install the companion PasswdSafe Sync app and add your Dropbox account. With the sync app, you'll be able to edit and sync the file back to your account.

Thanks! I guess I was confused, because it seems to me that it used to "work" (and previously I didn't understand why PasswdSafe Sync was necessary and hence had not installed it). Even now I can open the file in read/write mode on my old phone through dropbox (though perhaps there are some syncing problems). Not sure if I somehow have the phones set up differently, or if there is something new in how it works. But it does not matter because PasswdSafe Sync seems to be the solution. Perhaps the description for Sync could be more explicit that it solves this kind of problem. Thanks for the support and great app.
