About Encryption

Caleb Lopez

PassLock uses secure AES encryption to safely stored your passwords and encrypt your documents.

The below diagram explains how PassLock stores your information:

User enters information -> PassLock encrypts the password and username/email first -> PassLock creates .locke.secure file and drops your information into it -> PassLock encrypts the .locke.secure

By using a double encryption method, no one can view your information with having both sets of keys (double encryption uses two different keys).
