Here's my goals for PPI::Token::Number for the near future:
  * Improve test coverage
    - "0"
    - "0_x1"
    - "_" in general
    - base()
  * Add support for exponential notation
  * Consider removing/upgrading support for base256
  * Ponder support for literal()

    Something like that is needed to get rid of the last bad
    stringy eval in Perl::Critic
