Say we have 6 par files, isn't it possible to duplicate those file, and store somewhere else, restore 6 archives with them, then use the other 6 par files (which we duplicated first) and then restore another 6 archives ?

Yes. Assuming that you lost the second set of 6 files you want to restore only after restoring the first 6.
In order to restore ANY files, you must have as many unique PAR files as you have missing files.
