I'm looking for extended-character filename support for par2 under Darwin/Mac OS X.
Occasionally I d/l a file in the par set contains a special character (as in ü, é, or other) which is unrecognized. Part of the problem appears to be in the d/l process - the extended character is lost or substituted.
The GUI version (MacPar) recognizes the file and renames it accordingly, but the command-line version just gets confused and says the file is missing. Even after the file is renamed, the command-line version can't find it.
Anyone know if there's a solution to this?
