I started this topic up at the quickpar website too. Why is it so hard to have a PAR program divide the file in two equal threads to utilize both my cores. I'm not usually limited by I/O. I may only have 75/MB avg read/write but My hdd light blinks like every second indicating its hardly getting used while my performance dialog show one of my cores maxed out yet my second core is not used at all. I am an intermittent vc++ 6.0 coder and I'm going take a look at how these programs work. and if I can see how to make a par2.lib use both my cores then you can expect a new program coming out shortly. give me feedback whether or not this has been tried before. if so please tell me a program that does it so I don't have to keep using SlowPar 0.9.1 any longer. thanks
