Verifying d/l integrity using Quickpar

It must be my dumb day. How can you verify that your download is complete using Quickpar? Ithought you could use the small .par2 index file and the downloaded files, but this doesn't work. Do I need all the par2 files just to verify the d/l integrity?

The small PAR2 file contains a list of all the files that were origonally placed in the set. The small PAR2 contains the CRC's of all the files in the set which will be used to check that each file is valid.

What constitutes a complete download OTOH is a matter of opinion.

It is supposed to. You only need the larger PAR2 files if the set is damaged and it is easier to rebuild from some PAR2s rather than hunting for a good copy of the damaged files.

All of the PAR2s have the file list and CRCs so if you have downloaded a PAR2 that is too damaged to be used, download another.
