How can I solve the EEXIST problem?
I cannot restore anything due to this problem on Windows XP NTFS. I am sure that the files I am trying to restore do not exist and the PAR-DOS also confirms that but when I use it with "r" switch it gives me:
0%WRITE ERROR: File exists (EEXIST)
and it quits. Is it a common problem? Any workarounds?

I had a simmilar problem under XP. It is (probably) caused by the maximum number of filez in cmdline. You can edit:
%systemroot%\system32\CONFIG.NT
to solve the problem. This file is used to initialize the MS-DOS environment. Just change (or add) the line:
Files=255
and voila :)))
Good luck!
