I have a number of files which were formally corrupt and then repaired from the PAR2 files.
I've deleted all the extraneous files with the exception of the protected files and the top level .par2 file.
If I use QuickPar to view the par2 file it'll still tell me which files were repaired - how does it know this? Where is it storing this information ? (It can do this even if i restore the par2 file from backup - i.e the names of the repaired files couldn't be stored there).

If you're using Windows, Quickpar will cache that information in your user profile.
The path should look like: C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Quickpar
You can safely delete or wipe every file there, but then QP will have to analyze all files all over again.
