some apps supports this e.g. acroread, gimp, OO.
would it be possible implement this ? E.g. to show images previews in parcellite ?

this would be a killer feature for me. copy several images to the clipboard and
and later use it in OO.

This feature is very important for me too!

I can't use parcellite every time because this :(

I was just about to request the feature. The clipboard can hold images and I see Parcellite has a "Max Data Size (MB)" feature. So that could work (with small previews, of course).

    Please consider it. Thanks.

    Note:

    1) I think this problem was fixed a while ago, so that Parcellite now ignores binary clipboard entries:
    > i can't copy/paste an image from Firefox to OOo writer while
    Parcellite is running

    2) Supporting images properly might be more complicated than you think - e.g. the QT based qlipper currently supports restoring _images_ from the clipboard history, but not other binary clipboard information, like you would get for example if you selected images _and_ text in a web browser and copied them _together_.
